The app is very intuitive. All schedule changes are easily managed. In addition to schedule creation, the app creates emails and text messages to those affected by any changes. Reports may be generated to track shifts, costs, time off, logins, and more. Schedules may be created and saved for up to a year at a time. Data may be directly exported to payroll systems to expedite the process. Staff leaves, vacations, and sick time can also be tracked and used to identify patterns.

To set up a schedule, staff names, emails, and mobile numbers are entered or imported via CSV or Excel file. At that point, administrators can add options such as departments or job titles, filters like hourly rate or age, or download the schedule to PDF, Excel, or HTML.
Once created, the schedule may be filled in as a spreadsheet. It is easy and intuitive.
The first schedule may be created without providing payment information. The service is free for the month, so users need only enter a name for the schedule, email for manager, first name, promo code if they have one, password, and security code. The one month free trial does not require payment information.
The first month for each staff member is free. After that, one month is offered at a cost of $28. To schedule further into the future "top-ups" are offered. A 2 month top-up is $26.50 per month, 3 month: $25 per month, 6 months: $23.83 per month,and 12 months: $22.25 per month. That translates to $267 per year if you pay for 12 months at once or $336 if you pay monthly.
Text messaging is also an additional top-up that sends notifications to staff cell phones. Notifications allow 137 characters each and are available in bundles of 10-1,000; for total text costs of $2.78-$171.96, depending on the bundle chosen.
